As a means of furthering its mission to the community, First Christian Church purchased an 18,000 square foot building located across the street from our church in December of 2002. The interior of the building has been extensively remodeled and is totally handicap accessible.
The gym was restored with a high school size maple floor with basketball goals, volleyball nets, and walking track around the perimeter. The opposite side of the building contains a dining room which seats 250, a large kitchen with storage area, a laundry room, and a conference room. The upstairs is dedicated to our youth and has two classrooms as well as a recreation and kitchenette area.
