Wednesday Youth & Family Meal News

Wednesday Youth will meet at the church on September 10 due to the tile floor refinishing at Crossroads.  There will be no Family Meal that day.  On September 17 Wednesday Youth will be held at Crossroads followed by Family Meal at 5:30.  The school district will provide bus service to the corner of Mississippi and Jefferson Streets.  A Wednesday Youth adult staff member will be present to supervise the children to Crossroads each week.

Wednesday Youth Leaders

There will be an important meeting for Wednesday Youth Leaders on Wednesday, September 3 at 4 pm at the church to prepare for the new season.

Choir Practice

Vesper Choir practice will resume September 3 and sing September 7.

Long Range Planning Committee

Long Range Planning will meet Wednesday, September 3, 5:45 pm.

Brunch is Back

Our next scrumptious Brunch will be Saturday, September 6 from 7 until 11 am.  Bring a friend, bring your family and let us do the cooking for you.  If you would like to help with the event sign up sheets are on the fellowship table or talk to Joyce.  What a great way to help the church and serve the community as well.

Volunteers Are Needed To Move

Volunteers are needed Saturday, September 6 at 12:00 noon at Crossroads following the Brunch to move all items from the floor on the dining room half of the building in preparation for the floor refinishing to begin the following Monday.  Please let the office know if you can come so we know we have enough help.

Church Board Meeting

Committee Board Reports are due in the office Wednesday, September 3.  Board packets should be available outside the Long Room Sunday, September 7.  Church Board Meeting will be Wednesday, September 10, 7 pm.

Children's Worship

Just a reminder that Children's Worship is available during 10:30 Worship Service for youth ages 4 through grade 2.  The youth who are now in the 3rd grade are encouraged to stay in the sanctuary during Worship Service.

Office Closed

The church office will be closed Monday, September 1, in observance of Labor Day.
