Here at First, we place special value in the discipleship of our young people, and we believe the preteen and teenage years to be foundational for adopting Christ-like service. We have several targeted programs and events for our jr highers and high schoolers designed to help them to transition into actively being the Church.

Sunday morning small groups

Middle schoolers and high schoolers think very differently, so on Sunday mornings we have classes designed specifically for these two pivotal age groups. Both groups meet in the upstairs portion of the Crossroads Center at 9:15a.

Youth Group

Every* Thursday night during the school year our middle schoolers and high schoolers meet for youth group from 6:00-7:30. During this time, students enjoy student-led worship, carefully crafted lessons, and intentional small group discussions. This time is designed for students to solidify their own faiths in a question-safe environment.

Again, because the two groups think and act differently, the main lessons and small group are age-based. Middle schoolers get their own large group lesson while the high schoolers get theirs.

Annual Service Opporunities

Throughout the year, we offer students the opportunity to serve their church and their community. This is typically in the form of student-served dinners, outreach, and service projects. For the next opportunity, check the calendar!

Special Events

Each year we take trips out of Pittsfield to connect, recharge, and dig deeper. These events include camp at Mississippi Valley Christian Service Camp, CIY, Dare2Share, and smaller outings such as Snowstar. For info on the next event, check the calendar!

Forms

As a matter of good book keeping, we ask that every student that attends any of our events or youth group to fill out a General Permission Form and a General Health Form.
